NEIL LABUTE (PLAYWRIGHT):
Neil LaBute received his Master of Fine Arts degree in dramatic writing from New York University and was the recipient of a literary fellowship to study at the Royal Court Theatre, London. He also attended the Sundance Institute’s Playwrights Lab and is the Playwright-in-Residence with MCC Theatre in New York City. LaBute’s plays include: BASH: LATTER-DAY PLAYS, THE SHAPE OF THINGS, THE MERCY SEAT, THE DISTANCE FROM HERE, AUTOBAHN, FAT PIG (Olivier Award nominated for Best Comedy), SOME GIRL(S), THIS IS HOW IT GOES, WRECKS, FILTHY TALK FOR TROUBLED TIMES, IN A DARK DARK HOUSE, REASONS TO BE PRETTY (Tony Award nominated for Best Play) and THE BREAK OF NOON. In 2011 his play IN A FOREST, DARK AND DEEP premiered in London’s West End. LaBute is also the author of Seconds of Pleasure, a collection of short fiction which was published by Grove Atlantic. His films include In the Company of Men (New York Critics’ Circle Award for Best First Feature and the Filmmaker Trophy at the Sundance Film Festival), Your Friends and Neighbors, Nurse Betty, Possession, The Shape of Things, a film adaptation of his play of the same title, The Wicker Man, Lakeview Terrace and Death at a Funeral.

MOLLY SMITH METZLER (PLAYWRIGHT)
Molly Smith Metzler grew up in Kingston, New York. Her plays -- including Elemeno Pea, The May Queen, Close Up Space, Carve, andTraining Wisteria -- have been produced across the country and off-broadway at such theaters as Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC), Actors Theatre of Louisville (Humana Festival), South Coast Repertory, Summer Play Festival (SPF), Cherry Lane Mentor Project, Chautauqua Theeatre Company, Geva, Boston Playwrights' Theatre, and The Kennedy Center, where she was the recipient of three Kennedy Center National Student Playwrighting awards. Molly is an alum of Ars Nova Play Group and the Primary Stages writers group in New York; she studied playwrighting at Boston University, NYU Tisch, and The Juilliard School. A member of EST and The Dramatists Guild, she is currently under commission at South Coast Rep, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Manhattan Theatre Club. She lives in New York.

NICOLE ANSARI COX (ACTRESS AND PRODUCER):
Nicole Ansari has been acting since she was 9 years old in her native Germany, where she had her first big break in the German Cop series Tatort alongside German star Goetz George, followed by guest- starring roles in other TV series like Polizeiruf and Kommissar Rex. She then left Germany to join the renowned Zuerich-based Repertory company Theater am Neumarkt. She then went to study further in New York and auditioned for Uta Hagen, with whom she studied for the following 2 years and also for the Actor's Studio with Susan Batson, where she got accepted as a working temporary Member. After getting married to the Scottish actor Brian Cox and having two children with him she split her time between the US and the UK, where she kept working mostly in Television, in the UK in Phillip Saville's "The Biographer" and in the US most notably as a recurring character in the HBO Original series Deadwood. Nicole originated the part of Lenka, a Czech student of Philopsophy in Tom Stoppard's "Rock N' Roll" at the Royal court and in the West end in London and revived her role on Broadway at the Bernhard B. Jacobs Theater. She has recently worked with Steven Soderbergh in "Side effects" as well as Co-starred in the upcoming Indie "Maggie Black" and also guest-starred in the new NBC show "The Mysteries of Laura."

She is currently in post production on the YA novel adaptation of "Dr. Bird's Advice for Sad Poets" as well as "It's Not Funny Anymore", a feature film about a stand up comic who has to decide if he can keep performing material based on his own life issues. She frequents film festivals all over the world, and has various projects in development.
